Population and Resources
The current world population , as of November 2008
stands at 6.7 billion .

At it's present growth rate , it is expected to reach 9 billion
by the year 2042 .
Does the Earth have sustainable resources to support this population ?
It is estimated that the developed nations use 80 % of the world's
available resources ::

World Resources and Population
To sustain a population of 9 billion ; our ' standard of living '
will have to drop somewhat :: 9 billion will allow the West ( the
United States , and Europe ) to remain substantially unchanged ;
but will not allow the rest of the World to improve living standards
all that much .
The question that we in the West must face , is ::::
are we willing to lower our consumption of resources -
to investigate and rely on sustainable energy , for one ::
in order to help sustain a decent living standard in the rest
of the world ?
Right now , I have been investigating the phenomenon of ' Chemtrails " .
I will not go as far as to say that this is a ' population control '
method ::: but - there does seem to be some evidence to support this .
What I would suggest to anyone who is considering the drastic
reduction of Earth's population by any number of means ::: war ,
spreading of biological weapons , famine , etc ....
That the resources ARE in fact already here , to sustain a growth
in population , at least through the 10 billion mark ::: which will be reached in
approximatel 2050 - then we must re- evaluate our options again :::
One thing we must do , - ( and this is particularly evident in the State of
Florida ) - is to stop using up our areable farmland with useless construction
projects , and strip malls , etc ....
2.8 billion people earn less than $2 U.S. dollars a day - it is not much of
a stretch to see that a bit less consumption in the West , could raise
living standards in the developing world -
and bring us to a more equitable distribution of wealth and resources ,
and towards a more sustainable world population .
